  • Can I manage the Easy Access 50+ online?

    Yes, this account has been created for easy use and access. You can manage it via NetBanking and our Mobile App, anytime on the go. You are also welcome to visit a Financial Service Centre close to you or call us on 1300 360 744.

  • Are there any fees associated with Easy Access 50+ Account?

    A $5 monthly fee is applied when fee waive requirements are not met. This fee is waived if you meet one of the following criteria: you deposit at least $2k per month into the account, or if you have $30k or more in combined account balances across deposits and/or loans with us.

    Other general service fees will apply as per our existing Fees and Charges Schedule.

  • Can I open an Easy Access 50+ as a joint or shared account?

    Yes. You can choose to open Easy Access 50+ as a joint account when completing your online application form, or by calling us on 1300 360 744.

    For joint accounts, as long as the primary account holder is aged 50 or over, the secondary account holder does not need to meet the age requirement.

  • How can I add my tax file number or tax file exemption to my accounts?

    You will be asked to provide your Tax File Number when opening your account online. Alternatively, you can do this in your NetBanking, in person when visiting a Financial Service Centre closer to you, or over the phone at 1300 360 744.

  • Is my money protected by the Government in an interest-earning transaction account?

    Yes.  Holding an interest-earning transaction account is a secure way to earn interest on your everyday balance with the same protection an everyday account offers.
    This account is also protected under the Australian Federal Government’s Financial Claims Scheme (FCS) of up to $250k, the same as they would be with other financial institutions.

  • How do I earn interest in my Easy Access 50+?

    Interest will be calculated daily based off your account balance. If your account earns interest, you’ll be earning interest on the interest already accumulated. This process is known as compound interest. There are three tiers of balance amounts which accrue differing levels of interest. See All Interest Rates for the full details.
