Lindsay Johnston

Lindsay is our Chief Operating Officer (COO) and is responsible for overseeing SCCU’s daily ongoing operations, credit functions, and designing new procedures to improve performance and growth. Lindsay brings a wealth of knowledge to SCCU with an extensive professional background having previously worked within the banking, fintech, accounting and government industries for almost 30 years.

With demonstrated success leading divisions at both an Executive and Board level on a national and multinational basis, Lindsay has been responsible for the successful development and execution of business wide strategies and brings skills and insights into complex decision-making analysis and furthermore in process and strategy design.

Lindsay has been instrumental in multiple Mergers and Acquisition transactions within the finance industry, and the associated technology and operational transformation that is reliant on unique problem solving and strategic thinking necessary for successful implementation. Whilst also retaining a wealth of retail, business and property lending experience, his work has incorporated all areas of credit management, risk, operations, sales and regulatory fields.

Holding an MBA (Intl. Bus) and BBus (Acc), Lindsay has extensive academic experience and a communication and relationship style borne from his extensive time within the financial markets.
