Jessica Jackson
As part of the Executive team, Jessica is our Chief People Office (CPO) with over 12 years of human resources experience. Jessica was appointed to the role as CPO in December 2020 and is accountable for supporting, inspiring and enabling the SCCU’s team to deliver to our customers every day.
Jessica holds a Bachelor of Psychology from the University of Newcastle and among her human resources responsibilities, also leads the team who work firsthand with our customers through our Financial Services Centre network.
At SCCU, the experience we provide to our customers isn’t just important; it’s part of who we are – customers are our community, it’s why we’re here and their continued support is what helps us complete the cycle and be able to keep improving to benefit them year on year. For me it’s about fostering the best culture inside and out – because the customer experience only gets better when our people are delivering their best too
A strong communicator with natural leadership ability, Jessica is an accomplished, people focused HR leader with experience in talent strategy, professional development, employee engagement and culture change across a diverse range of businesses.
A proud mum and team player, Jess is always first to jump in and get involved in volunteering opportunities, sometimes bringing her mini-me along too!
It’s rare to find a place where so many people genuinely want to get involved if it means it will help others or contribute to something bigger than themselves. We’ve given away surprise Christmas trees to families, donated time to help prepare meals for those in need, had fun in kayaks cleaning up the waterways.
