Australia’s Mutual Lender of the Year, Southern Cross Credit Union (SCCU) has re-opened the doors to their redesigned Lismore and Mullumbimby Financial Service Centre (FSC) and it’s catching local attention.
At a time when many have had to pull back on spending, SCCU is doing the opposite. Reinvesting into the areas they call home and celebrating with summer specials and week-long events to encourage locals to come in and experience the new space, designed for them.
The redesign continues to reflect the Credit Unions commitment to being customer-focused and doing things differently.
CEO Stuart Edwards said “We’re incredibly proud to have created spaces where people feel comfortable, that reflects the local community and where conversations flow more easily.
This year has been a learning curve for all and while our digital channels continue to grow and deliver an improved online experience, we still see the importance of those face-to-face interactions. Particularly as many have been kept apart for longer than ever before,” added Stuart.
Feedback following renovations has been overwhelmingly positive and with Open Week promotions happening in Lismore from 30th November– 4th December 2020 and Mullumbimby 7th December – 11th December 2020. With lending specialists on-site all week, the doors are well and truly open to everyone. “Our FSC’s are a part of the community and we wanted to celebrate with those who have continued to support us, but also invite those who are looking for something better, one that works for them.
Whether it be online or in-branch, the kind of personalised service consumers are demanding is something we work hard to deliver, and improve on at every moment,” Mr Edwards said.
