We currently have an exciting opportunity to lead the team at our Mullumbimby Branch. You will help drive and shape our new direction and be part of our exciting future, taking ownership of the service experience and focusing on quality needs based sales conversations.

Skills/Attributes

  • Experience in a similar role and operational background in Financial Services/Retail Banking Industry, preferred.
  • Demonstrated exceptional organisational and people management skills with the ability to inspire high performance
  •  Ability to demonstrate results achieved against performance based objectives. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build genuine rapport with customers and the community.
  • Ability to display a high level of motivation and personal initiative.
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Finance preferable.

Primary Responsibilities

This role is responsible for leading the Service Centre with a focus on delivering a seamless service to all customers through an end to end experience.

  • Drive customer loyalty and deepening of relationship through a sales force that is empowered to explore customer needs;
  • Lead from the front, actively engaging customer and developing Customer Service Specialist needs based conversations through live observation, coaching and daily feedback;
  • Promote the effective use of Customer Relationship Management tools and systems to increase business performance and customer product fulfilment;
  • Actively promote the brand in the local business community by being involved in local events and networking opportunities to improve business outcomes;
  • Enhance the sale of lending products to customers by maintaining an up-to date knowledge of all lending products and through delivering efficient and professional lending advice;
  • Promote customer growth by the execution of marketing strategies and campaigns and the provision of excellent customer service;
  • Actively support and help to drive change initiatives and transformation activities.

Who we're looking for

We are looking for self-motivated and highly organised individuals to proactively generate growth in our lending portfolio. A key customer focused role you will be responsible for the provision of an exceptional lending service to our customers developing long term relationships by truly understanding their needs, budgets and lifestyles. In addition to;

  • Driving business development activities to support growth initiatives;

  • Managing the end-to-end lending process from interview to settlement ensuring regular contact is made with the customer to deliver exceptional service and to support their ongoing needs;

  • Being a leader in community involvement by joining and being an active participant in community organisations where potential borrowers are likely to participate.

    Skills / Attributes

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role in Financial Services / Banking Industry with proven results against targets.

  • Ability to demonstrate experience and resilience in managing a successful client facing sales and service role within the financial services industry.

  • Demonstrated ability to engage referral partners including a branch network.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate to deliver strong results

  • Confident communicator with ability to build genuine rapport with customers over the phone as well as in person

  • Display a high level of motivation and personal initiative.

  • High degree of attention to detail
